How Horizon Protects You

Horizon Bank is dedicated to protecting your confidential information every time you use any of our services.  To that end, we have invested in the latest technology and tools designed to provide the highest level of security.  Our Special Services Security Guide gives you information on the steps we take to secure your banking, and introduces you to a wealth of special tools available to you while using Horizon’s Internet and electronic banking systems.

How to Protect Yourself

You must also do your part to help fight fraud and minimize your exposure to ID theft and scams.  We have developed our Fraud Protection and Response Guide that covers the gamut of frauds, while providing useful tips on things you can do to protect yourself.  It outlines optional free security measures you can activate on your accounts or devices while banking with Horizon, and also includes a Fraud Prevention Risk Self-Assessment and an ID Theft Repair Kit.

How to Protect Your Business

Corporate Account Takeover (CATO) is a fast growing electronic crime where thieves typically use malware or similar means to obtain log-in credentials to corporate online banking accounts and fraudulently transfer funds.  These cyber attacks can result in substantial monetary loss for your company that, often, cannot be recovered.  Horizon has developed a CATO Resource Guide full of security measures we urge you to take to safeguard your business against fraud.
